David-Muir
David Muir (born August 25 1949) is an American journalist, anchor and reporter. Most well-known is for his show World News Tonight. His show with its dramatic video footage celebrity gossip and animated movements has been voted the top news show in America. Also, he is known for his Emmy-nominated program Made In America. Prior to joining ABC World News Tonight, he served as the primary reporter for his predecessor Diane Sawyer. He was a reporter on a variety of morning ABC News specials, including Breaking Point - Heroin in America. He's been all over the world reporting on news from Gaza Egypt Iran Somalia Japan Peru Ukraine Haiti & the Gulf of Mexico. The awards he has received include numerous Edward R. Murrow Awards and awards from the Associated Press.
