Suzy Kolber was born Suzanne Lisa Kolber on May 14th, 1964, in Philadelphia Pennsylvania to a Jewish family. The age she is now is at 58. The name of her mother is Sandra Kolber and her father is Gene Kolber. The school she attended was Sandy Run Middle School in Dresher Pennsylvania and is a 1982 student at Pennsylvania's Upper Dublin High School. In 1986, she earned an undergraduate degree in Arts with a telecommunications concentration from University of Miami. While still a student at undergraduate level, she landed her first job as the sports director of Dynamic Cable Coral Gables Florida. Furthermore, she was employed by Dynamic Cable for a period of two years, from 1984 until 1986. During this period she was also part of the water skiing team from the University of Miami. Plaza participated in Wilmington community theatres as an infant, where she did improv and directed one-act theatre. After graduating from high school, she moved to New York City where she studied improv at The Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre and was a film and TV production student at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts which she graduated from in. After graduating from high school, she relocated to New York City, where she attended improv courses in the theatre of Upright Citizens Brigade. In addition, she learned about film and television production at Tisch School of the Arts. The school graduated her in the year 2006.
